Every year, over 16,500 student volunteers at The Pennsylvania State University (PSU) help plan and execute THON™ Weekend, a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon. Thousands of students, volunteers, and spectators come together to raise millions of dollars annually and support over 4,800 families impacted by childhood cancer.

Thousands of students, volunteers, and spectators come together to raise millions of dollars annually and support over 4,800 families impacted by childhood cancer. 

THON is thrilled to announce that THON Weekend 2026 will take place from February 20-22 at the Bryce Jordan Center. 

Join us in February as we dance For The Kids® and continue to fight against childhood cancer. Whether you are dancing, volunteering, or showing support from the stands, your presence makes an impact. 

THON 2025 set a record with $17.7 million raised, making THON’s total fundraising $253 million all For The Kids.

The event is open to the public, and there is no admission fee for spectators.

Entering the Bryce Jordan Center:
  • General Spectator Entrance: All spectators should enter through the General Spectator Line at Will Call via the BJC Ticketing Office. Upon arrival, you'll receive a wristband that must be worn at all times inside the venue.
  • Security Screening: Expect a security screening, including metal detectors and bag checks, at each gate.
Bag Policy:
  • Permitted Bags:
    • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”.
    • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
    • Small clutch bags, with or without a handle or strap, that do not exceed 4.5” x 6.5” x 1".

An exception will be made for medically necessary items that cannot fit into a clear bag, after proper inspection. No backpacks allowed.

Fans will be asked to return non-approved bags or other prohibited items to their vehicle prior to arena entry. There is no check-in location for prohibited bags or items at the BJC.

Prohibited Items: Items such as large purses, coolers, backpacks, and any bag not complying with the clear bag policy are not permitted. Additionally, outside food or beverages (except empty reusable water bottles), inflatable objects, weapons, and liquids (excluding sealed bubbles) are prohibited.

Recommended Items to Bring:
  • Comfortable shoes for extended standing.
  • A non-monetary ID for pass access.
  • A clear bag that complies with BJC regulations.
  • A portable charger and an empty reusable water bottle.

Parking Sales

Parking for the Bryce Jordan Center is provided and managed by Penn State Transportation Services and requires a valid Penn State parking permit of payment of the event parking fee.  Parking for Bryce Jordan Center events is available in the following Commuter lots: Jordan East, Stadium West and Porter North. See where you can park on your next visit by viewing our Interactive Parking Map.

  • No charge for those with a valid Penn State University Park faculty/staff or student parking permit.
  • Pre-pay and save using ParkWhiz.
  • Cash payments are not accepted on event nights. Fans without a Penn State faculty/staff or student parking permit or who have not prepaid through ParkWhiz will be required to pay full price for parking through the HONK platform.

Head-in parking is required in event parking areas, and the license plate number provided with payment must match that of the vehicle parked for the event.

PARKWHIZ PREPAYMENT INFORMATION
  • Prepayment must be completed by the day before the event to avoid day-of-event rates.
  • Park in the specific lot selected on the ParkWhiz website.
  • Show your ParkWhiz pass on your mobile device if requested. Printed passes are also accepted.

Head-in parking is required in event parking areas, and the license plate number provided with payment must match that of the vehicle parked for the event.

DAY-OF-EVENT PARKING VIA HONK

If you haven’t prepaid for parking through ParkWhiz (available through the day before the event), you must pay full price via the HONK platform using one of the following methods:

Option 1: Scan the QR Code
  • Locate signage in the lot.
  • Scan the QR code with your phone to pay.
Option 2: Text to Pay
  • Text PSUCR to 75498.
  • Tap the link in the reply to complete payment.
Option 3: Use the HONK App
  • Download the HONK parking app.
  • Enter zone number PSUCR to pay.
!PARKING ALERT

Pre-paid parking for Bryce Jordan Center events should be purchased exclusively through ParkWhiz.

Purchasing parking from third-party resellers may result in:

  • Significantly higher prices
  • Invalid or fraudulent permits

To ensure a smooth experience, always buy prepaid parking for Penn State events directly from ParkWhiz.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking is available in the Commuter Lots on a first-come, first-served basis.

Requirements:

  • A valid state-issued ADA placard or license plate
  • A valid Penn State faculty/staff or student parking permit, or payment for parking (via ParkWhiz prepayment or HONK)

Accessibility

Accessible seating is available for purchase through the Bryce Jordan Center Box Office or through Ticketmaster.  We highly recommend patrons contact our ticket office directly (814) 865-5555, as our staff has more intimate knowledge of our facilities and can best serve our patrons with accessible seating needs.  Review our accessibility accommodations for details on interpretive services, wheelchair space locations, and guide animals.

Allergen Warning

The Bryce Jordan Center now offers products containing NUTS that are not individually packaged.  Products at this location may contain or come into contact with TREE NUTS or other allergens.

Bag Policy

In line with best practices at major entertainment venues, the Bryce Jordan Center utilizes walk-through metal detectors at all entry gates and restrictions on the size and type of bag that may be carried into the arena for all events.

Fans are encouraged to avoid bringing  bags into the arena.  This would include backpacks, purses, briefcases, duffle bags, coolers, etc.

PERMITTED BAGS AT THE BRYCE JORDAN CENTER:
  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”.
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).

All media representatives with necessary bags and equipment must enter the BJC at the media entrance to have each item inspected and tagged prior to entering the BJC.

Camera Policy

Flash photography, camera or recording equipment (including cameras with detachable lenses, any form of camera stand or audio/video recording devices, laptops or tablets) or other electronics are allowed into the Bryce Jordan Center for THON.
