PENN STATE THON

THON may be virtual, but you can still get your Chicken Basket AND support THON at the same time!  Order through Penn State Eats and pick-up your order in the Bryce Jordan Center Ticket Office during THON weekend. We've made it easy to stay safe and sanitized during pick up. Please do your part and mask-up while on campus. Portion of the proceeds to benefit THON.

The Penn State Dance Marathon (THON™) is a student-run philanthropy committed to enhancing the lives of children and families impacted by childhood cancer. THON’s yearlong efforts culminate every February during THON Weekend, typically held at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, PA. For the safety of THON Volunteers, Four Diamonds Families, and all supporters, THON Weekend 2021 will take place virtually.

Keeping with THON tradition, the event will still be 46 hours long. Dancers will only be asked to stand for part of this time with designated rest hours between midnight and 6 a.m., in order to ensure each individual dancer’s safety. Dancers will be challenged to complete a set of tasks from home to show their support for our Four Diamonds families.

THON Weekend will consist of performance groups, Four Diamonds family speakers, and annual favorites such as a pep rally, headlining artists, kids talent and fashion show, family hour, and more. The stream can be accessed any time between February 19 at 6 p.m. to February 21 at 4 p.m. at www.THON.org. There is also a comprehensive spectator guide accessible to viewers on THON’s website with resources on how to participate in THON Weekend safely from home.

The recording of all events for the livestream will follow Penn State University, Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and local government guidelines pertaining to COVID-19, in order to ensure the safety of all involved.
