In line with the best practices at major entertainment venues, the Bryce Jordan Center utilizes walk-through metal detectors at all entry gates and restrictions on the size and type of bag that may be carried into the arena for all events. 

Fans are encouraged to avoid bringing bags into the arena. This would include backpacks, purses, briefcases, duffle bags, coolers, etc.

PERMITTED BAGS AT THE BRYCE JORDAN CENTER:

• Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”.
• One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
• Small clutch bags, with or without a handle or strap, that do not exceed 4.5” x 6.5” x 1".

An exception will be made for medically necessary items that cannot fit into a clear bag, after proper inspection.

Fans will be asked to return non-approved bags or other prohibited items to their vehicle prior to arena entry. There is no check-in location for prohibited bags or items at the BJC.

All media representatives with necessary bags and equipment must enter the BJC at the media entrance to have each item inspected and tagged prior to entering the BJC.

Flash photography, camera or recording equipment (including cameras with detachable lenses, any form of camera stand or audio/video recording devices, laptops or tablets) laser pointers or other electronics are strictly prohibited. Small, non-professional cameras (camera phones) will be allowed.

Parking Changes Announced for Kenny Chesney Saturday at the Bryce Jordan Center

ParkMobile prepayment or a valid Penn State permit will be required to park at the Stadium West, Jordan East, and Porter North lots near the Bryce Jordan Center.

• Pre-paid parking through ParkMobile is available at a discounted rate ($11) until 11:59PM Friday, March 24
• Pre-paid parking through ParkMobile is available at full price ($20) 12:00AM  – 4:30PM Saturday, March 25

Day-of-event parking will be available in the East Deck.

• Fans who have not purchased parking through ParkMobile and do not have a Penn State Parking Permit will be directed to park in the East Deck
• Day-of-event parking is $20 
• Additional cash-only lots may be made available prior to the event and will be announced as they are added

ADA parking is available in the Stadium West and Jordan East lots.

• A state-issued ADA placard or license plate is required, along with a valid Penn State permit or ParkMobile prepayment or day-of-event cash payment
• Prepayment for any of the event lots with a valid ADA placard or license plate will allow for parking in the Stadium West and Jordan East lots

With very heavy traffic expected, fans are strongly encouraged to arrive early.

• Event parking areas will open at 3PM to those who have prepaid through ParkMobile
• Day-of-event parking sales at the East Deck will open at 5PM
• Bryce Jordan Center doors are scheduled to open at 6PM

Guests are reminded that alcohol and tailgating is not permitted on campus and gatherings may not impede parking spaces or traffic flow.   

Parking is provided and managed by Penn State Transportation Services.

The Bryce Jordan Center now offers products containing NUTS that are not individually packaged.  Products at this location may contain or come into contact with TREE NUTS or other allergens.

At the Bryce Jordan Center, the health and safety of our guests is our highest priority. As part of Penn State University, the Bryce Jordan Center will continue to adhere to and adjust our protocols as public health guidelines evolve. As of March 7, 2022, consistent with the latest guidance from the CDC, masks will no longer be required during events at the Bryce Jordan Center.

Individuals who are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 should stay home and contact their health care provider.

Some events at the Bryce Jordan Center may have additional health and safety guidelines as required by the artist. We encourage fans to regularly check the individual event pages on our website www.bjc.psu.edu for event-specific requirements.

Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at this event. All alcohol purchases must be accompanied by a valid state-issued driver’s license or ID, Passport or Military ID.  You must be 21 years of age to purchase any alcohol.  Service of alcoholic beverages is limited to two (2) drinks per person, per purchase.  Management has the right to refuse service at any time.  Alcohol sales can be terminated at any time at the discretion of Bryce Jordan Center management.

Gate A will be the designated gate for General Admission.  Fans with GA tickets may begin lining up outside Gate A beginning at 8 AM on March 25.

Umbrellas are allowed inside the venue for this event.
