Penn State and Centre Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM) will host a COVID-19 vaccine clinic prior to the Penn State-Villanova football game, offering first and second doses of all three authorized vaccines.

To serve fans attending the game, the clinic will be set up inside Gate A of the Bryce Jordan Center (BJC) from 9 to 11 a.m. The clinic is free and open to anyone age 12 or older who needs either a first or second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. The clinic will not be providing third dose booster shots.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Penn State to offer a convenient vaccine clinic for Penn State football fans,” said Cheryl White, executive director of CVIM. “We will have vaccines by Johnson & Johnson, Moderna and Pfizer, so fans can get a first dose, a second dose or the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. Students, employees, fans and community members are all welcome.”

The clinic is drop-in only with no appointments. Individuals who wish to receive a vaccine must wear a mask while inside the BJC and bring photo identification and, for those who are getting their second dose, their vaccine card. Individuals will need to complete a vaccine consent form and wait inside the BJC for approximately 15 minutes after receiving their shot. The clinic will conclude in time for people to enter Beaver Stadium for the game.

In addition to CVIM, the clinic is supported by Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, the Penn State COVID-19 Operations Control Center, Penn State Auxiliary and Business Services, the College of Medicine and the Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing. The vaccine will be administered by volunteers from CVIM and the colleges of Medicine and Nursing.
