In conjunction with the Penn State Blue Band’s 40th anniversary of Blue Bandorama, this year’s historic event will be taking place Saturday, October 6 at 4pm at the Bryce Jordan Center.
Blue Bandorama began in 1978 as an indoor showcase of the music played during halftime at Penn State football games. For the past 39 years, the concert was held in November on the eve of the final home game of the season at Eisenhower Auditorium. For the first time in Blue Band history, Blue Bandorama is moving to the Bryce Jordan Center. The concert will be held earlier in the season during the Nittany Lions bye week. The band will perform traditional Penn State songs as well as some of its most exciting halftime shows, including a special guest performance by Penn State’s renowned Musical Theatre department. 2018’s Blue Bandorama is sure to be one of the most exciting concerts in the band’s storied history.
Tickets start at $24.50 for adults, $19.00 for Penn State students and youth (17 and under). Children 2 and under will be free. VIP tickets (which include a Meet and Greet) are also available. All tickets are reserved theatre-style seating. Tickets are available at the Bryce Jordan Center, Eisenhower Auditorium, Penn State Theatre Downtown, Penn State Altoona campus, online at ticketmaster.com, or by calling 800-745-3000.
